What is your current role – Lead Consultant

What was your journey like getting to this role? Moved over and started teaching Science in North London before meeting Leigh Dadswell who worked for anzuk. Became friends with Leigh and took an opportunity that came up to start as an ERC in the SE team.

What does a typical day look like for you? Coffee, morning bookings, coffee, overseas calls, coffee, calling London schools and shortlisting for roles, lunch and then filling bookings in the afternoon. Repeat.

What did you do before this? Science Teacher, Butcher’s assistant, Farmhand, Cellar Hand

Favourite podcast? Infinite Monkey Cage

Favourite book? Sapiens.

What do you do when you’re not working? Play guitar a bit too loud for the neighbours – mostly Matchbox 20 – 3 AM.

Favourite BE GREAT value? Relationships – it’s key to everything we do here within the office, with our educators and with the schools we work with.

Favourite quote? It’s easier to act your way into a new way of thinking than it is to think your way into a new way of acting.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining anzuk? It will be worth it when you play Tube Station of Schmube Schmation on the quiz day!

Fun fact about you? I once played the half-time game for the Anzac day clash on the MCG and racked up 3 possessions.

Favourite country to visit? Italy – For the food, the beaches and the Aperols!
