Thank-you to everyone that completed our biannual survey, we were very pleased with the outstanding response rates. These surveys provide us with invaluable information that we will use to ensure we are continually improving our service for schools and educators.

 

The two key areas for improvement that you identified were providing greater educator support and development opportunities along with improvements in technology.

 

Educator development

Your responses have led us to recognise that now, more than ever, this is an area we need to continually invest in. This has also been highlighted by the changes in legislation that have occurred over the past 12 months to improve practices around the safeguarding of students.

 

Over the coming months we will be creating a development framework plan that gives our educators clear steps and clarity on ways to achieve continued growth. We will commit to providing targeted PD based on your feedback and continue to improve the accessibility of our PD by having as much as we can available online.

 

We are honoured that 86% of our educators expect to still be working with us in 12 months’ time and we are excited by what we might be able to achieve together in this time. As 93% of our educators agree or strongly agree that they feel motivated to go above and beyond at work, we know that with improved support and development, the impact on students and learning communities will be great.

 

Technology

We are currently investing resources into developing and refining technology that will save you more time and assist in getting the right educator for each class, every day. The Replace Me function of our app will drastically reduce the amount of time you spend managing staff absence whilst improving our ability to provide you consistency specific to grades and subject areas. This development will include the ability to store class specific information, including lesson plans and feedback. This initiative is designed to ensure our educators are both informed and prepared which are the key ingredients to sustaining exceptional experiences in education.

You may have already noticed some improvements in this space, recently we have made inroads into increasing transparency through the ability to view the certifications of educators booked at your school through your online portal.

 

It was great to see that 97% of you agree or strongly agree that you are well supported by anzuk and we want to ensure that we continue to deliver and increase this high level of support by using the feedback we have received to guide the initiatives to prioritise over the next six months.
