How do I apply?
You can apply online for casual, contract and ongoing positions via our website by selecting the “Register for Work” button. Once you apply with us, you’ll get a call from a member of our team to discuss how we can assist you in finding employment in schools or early childhood services.
When will I be paid?
Pay is processed weekly with payment for work completed received one week in arrears.
For example:
After completing a shift on Tuesday 5/11/2019, John will be paid for this shift the following week on Friday 15/11/2019.
How can I access my 2018/2019 PAYG summary?
PAYG summaries from 2018/2019 and onwards will be available on the MyGov website (https://www.my.gov.au) or via the Australian Tax Office (ATO) app. If you do not have a MyGov account you can contact the ATO on 13 28 61 and they will provide you with details over the phone.
Am I eligible for JobSeeker Payment?
All questions regarding Jobseeker payments and other income support schemes should be directed toward Centrelink by calling 132 850. Alternatively, you can learn more about the Jobseeker scheme by accessing the Services Australia website through the following link https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/jobseeker-payment
How can I access Jobkeeper payments?
The federal government recently announced the $130 billion dollar “jobkeeper” support package. We are currently working through details of this initiative with both our accounting firm (Moore Stephens) and the Recruiting and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) to ensure our response and understanding of the new legislation is accurate. You will be contacted when we have clarity on how this scheme will work and how it relates to your particular circumstances.
Will schools be open in term two?
The federal government has committed to schools reopening following the Easter school holidays. We expect this to occur however recognise this is an evolving situation. You will be notified if there is any indication this situation may change.
When will I be paid superannuation?
Superannuation is paid on a quarterly basis in line with ATO requirements.
Payments into your super fund will be processed on the 20th of each month and will appear in your account on the following dates:

- Quarter 1: 28th April
- Quarter 2: 28th July
- Quarter 3: 28th October
- Quarter 4: 28th January
Earnings of $450 or more per month are required to generate superannuation contributions. For anyone that does not have an active fund that chooses VIC Super, your account will be created when, and only after your first payment is processed within the quarterly periods identified above.
